The wind had a distinct scent
and the cologne took her back to old times
when her world was confined to his love nest
and her life was just him being around
And as she frantically looked around for cues
the sudden spur of emotions
rattled her at last
And all those suppressed reminiscence
roiled her memories
that came surfacing from the distant past
