Oh! that hope
you nurture it
kindle it
keep it close to your heart
never to lose again
And the mind
that relentlessly tries convincing you
to move on
yet you seldom listen
and keep reeling on
until eternity strikes
Sometimes you suffer
often you cry
but you never let that hope
escape your sight
Hope though is a wonderful thing,
often it is deterrent,
as when we cling
to the word impossible
disappointment is what
we meet at the end
But then
wonders are never defined
in a world
crowded by eyes covered in blinds
for miracle happens to those
You never lose hope

Hope or expectation I feel is a mistrusted emotion and it’s very playful I feel. You might expect or hope a lot and end up getting nothing and when you hope for zero end up achieving something.
I don’t know what to say here. I have mixed feelings about this, and I could go on and on this, but I think I should stop by saying that the post did made me wonder on the topic again!

It’s like one moment there is so much hope, so much that you never want to let it go.. but then there comes a time when you just don’t want that hope to be with you, because that hope is helping, or to say that hope is simply deceiving you. Don’t know if I am making sense.
I think it all boils down to expectations. The more we have the more it hurts. What do you think
