She won’t speak her mind,
Treasured her thoughts deep inside,
Testing his patience to the extreme,
She only smiled in his dreams.
Despite her numerous tries,
He refused to give up,
For her visage may put forth a disguise,
But her eyes never lied.
The eyes though had pain from the past,
But it also had hope amassed,
He often heard the clamor of her quandaries,
And he was determined to get her free from the shackles of the past boundaries.
Today she was a reticent soul,
But he knew,
Soon see would liberate,
From her past unpleasant yore.
