We will Survive

And when you speak your mind
without getting constrained by any externalities

And hold me in your thoughts
minus the shackles of the ostensible world

And when I express my deepest feeling for you
you rest my apprehension by calling me by my name

At that moment of truth
you give me hope
that somehow the love will survive
somewhere in this parallel world
you and I will thrive
