The reach was not too far nor was the grit. I knew all it would take was the touch of my trailing voice for her to detest the world and come crashing into my arms.
But there were pronouncements; there were diminutions that were holding me back in an excruciating torment. As my mind was clouded with insanity the only way I found respite was to flow with the tide.
I walked up to her to be as close two humans could without abutting. There were no words, no reverberation whatsoever. The uncanny beat of her heart was making everything anarchy. With some courage, I started to move my lips to form the syllable but before even my rim could vibrate, I found her in my shield curving in a cocoon of love shedding away all uncalled reasoning and thoughts.
