Hey all you dear bloggers. So this is day three, the final day of my lyrical challenge.
The kind Richa has recommended me for yet another interesting tag! – the lyrical challenge. 💫🌟
Thank you so much, Richa for tagging me for the interesting “Lyrical Challenge Tag”! I truly appreciate it and I appreciate you for keeping me on your mind ❤️. If you haven’t checked her work you sure are missing something. Fun posts, mesmerizing poetry, thought-provoking messages and gorgeous captures, her blog has so much to offer and more.
I am going to do this challenge little differently. I will put down the lyrics and a version sung by me. Horror isn’t? 😱 for sure 😊but if you follow me you know I am an aberrant soul, often abstruse. So, thank you for putting up with me 💐🤗
So, folks this is Day two. For today I have chosen a not so popular(my favorite😄) Hindi song, Tum Bhi chalo from the movie Zameer. The song is sung by the legendary Kishore Kumar, composed by Sapan Chakraborty and written by Sahir Ludhianvi starring Amitabh Bachaan and Saira Banu
So here it goes

Song Lyrics
Tum Bhi chalo hum bhi chale
chalti rahe zindagi
Na Zameen manzil na aasman
zindagi hai zindagi
Tum Bhi chalo hum bhi chale
chalti rahe zindagi
Na Zameen manzil na aasman
zindagi hai zindagi
Peechhen dekhe na kabhi mudke raahon mein Hoo.
Jhoome mera dil tumhe leke baahon mein Hooo
Dhadkon ki jubaan nit kahe daastan
Pyar ki jhilmil chhaon mein
Palti rahe zindagi
Tum Bhi chalo hum bhi chale
chalti rahe zindagi
Behten chale hum masti ke dharon mein
Goonje yehi dhun sadaa dil ke taaron mein
Ab ruke na kahin pyar ka karwa
Nit nayi ruth ke rang mein
chalti rahe zindagi
Tum Bhi chalo hum bhi chale
chalti rahe zindagi
Na Zameen manzil na aasman
zindagi hai zindagi
Tum Bhi chalo hum bhi chale
chalti rahe zindagi

Kishore and the songs of the 70’s ….love all of them. Enjoyed your version too Shantanu. Well rendered. You too seem to be fan of old hindi numbers 🙂
I love this song.!❤️ One of my favourite. Sahir Ludhiyanavi and his words. You can never get enough of it.🌸
Loved your version as well.
Aha. I found someone who loves this song. I thought you will be too young to love songs from 70s. Glad to learn and thank you for tolerating my voice ❤️
I am totally a big fan of old songs. Thanks for listening in 😊🌸
I grew fond of old songs because of my family where music is the cure to almost everything. 💖 And we the young generation are banned from listening to new songs😂 which makes no sense to them.
Your voice is good.😁
Lol. So engrained in you by force. Thanks for your comment 😊🌸❤️
Hahaha yeah.😛 But I am staying with those songs forever now.❤️ Currently listening to ‘Tumne mujhe dekha hokar meherbaan’ – Mohd Rafi.🌸
This is so so beautiful. I am about to board a flight and I am going to gym along. Based on raag Keeravani ❤️❤️my favorite
Happy Journey!🌸
Thank you
You sound like an old soul, so full of melody! Beautifully done Shantanu!❤️
Haha. Thank you so much 😊🌸
I just loved the song. The beauty of old songs is unmatched. ❤️❤️
Thank you Jaya for listening in😊🌸
Lovely choice, Shantanu.
I think I know the song from some 70s movie. Unfortunately, I don’t understand Hindi. 😆I’m guessing the lyrics is about life or living life?
Thanks a lot, Punam
It is. Wow that is close 😊🌸
Always a pleasure 🙃
😊🌸
I used to learn Hindi, but I was never able to commit. 😟
That explains 😊🌸
