As I Was Walking Down The Street

Read a take on empathy by Shaurya

As I was walking down the street
Many people did I meet

Children were running and playing
Dogs in the sun, laying

Elders were jubilantly strolling
Kittens were angrily growling

Many were staring at the beauties of the trees
And kindergarteners were running from bees

We all may be different in many ways
But we are all a family that should be together always

  1. So sweet and beautiful. You have a poet with a beautiful heart in your son – in your family and in our global one too – Young Shaurya. Feel so happy and blessed to read his words. thank you.

  2. Looking at the world from a child’s eye, it’s so beautiful. A lot of power to his pen. He writes so well, just like his father.
