Near Yet So Far

Shantanu Baruah's avatarConfab With Me

How many times I weave few words of love,
But refrain from showing you.
And those occasions when I harness some thoughts,
But abolish to express.
I often smile gazing the moon,
When I see your reflection in its shadow from time to time.
And the pitter-patter of raindrops on that windowsill,
How it reminds me of our endless talk.

The summer nights,
The starlit skies,
The evening hues,
The wilderness sights,

Every nature’s caper brings back the vivid memories,
The days of our bonding,
The trail of those beautifultimes.

I try reaching out to you,
And though you are near,
Yet far away from my yearning heart

  1. Can you send me a mail from my contact us page. I will respond you privately with my email id. It is just that I do not want to share my personal email in a public forum.

  2. The word I have for it is ‘WOW’. Something which I thought is incomprehensible, has been so beautifully articulated. This gave an identity to the feeling which is visible to none except the person having it. I am simply awed by it.
    🙂

  3. This is so written so deeply from your heart. When there is love and yearning in our heart, it gets reflected in nature and its beauty around us.
