Her Reminiscence

I took shelter in my solitude
to escape those miscreant thoughts and her perilous stare

So, I embarked my journey in seclusion
to seek some inspiration,
and to discover my lost self,
but even in such desolate moor
where no one but me existed,
I remained bereft
despondent and bereaved
for no matter where I went,
I couldn’t escape her reminiscence

  7. Very poignant. Sometimes we can never truly escape even when we want to. What is true solitude? Yes, we find our SELVES there. Great write
