In the scare of being over intrusive
he was hesitant to inquire her deviant outlook,
and before he could discern
she was draped in layers of obtrusive shield,
and despite his best intentions
he watched her slowly morphing
from being ebullient
to a crestfallen being.
All his desires,
his dreams
and his thoughts vaporized,
for he couldn’t muster enough courage
to let his mind speak
