Nothing Mattered

Neither the hullabaloo,
nor the chaotic clamor,
nor withstanding any human charade,
or the blue moon ghost lurking sight

None of such obnoxious random appearances is significant anymore,
for I am so engrossed in you,
the world doesn’t exist for me,
and nothing else mattered

  1. I know this sentiment personally; to be engrossed in the love of another kindred soul is such a rare and delightful gift… To know of all the wonders that abound and care not in the presence of one who shines brighter. Beautiful words, Shantanu.

  2. Your every poem is like…Jaw dropping for me with a long ‘woooooowwwww’ sound😯, they are just amazing, are you a writer sir?😃

  3. Wow! I read the intro of the story…That was really engrossing and yeah great suspense is there with so many questions, it is very well capable of keeping the reader’s keen interest throughout the read😃
All the best for your novel!😃

  4. It’s autumn now Shantanu. Currently 11 degrees celcius. It doesn’t snow here but it goes down up to 3 degrees. I think this weather is the reason for my sniffles today. Where exactly are you in US?

  5. I wish that’s the case.. but yeah maybe I should get inspiration from that.. I don’t know if I am having a writer’s block or something..

    Thanks…

    Nope, haven’t been to US.

  6. Thank you Shantanu.. That means a lot! You are very kind to me… Love and blessings to you and your family. ❤
