The Passing Whiff

Spreading her wings
like an angelic cherub
belonging to some Corinthian time
from a distant past
she soared
spreading some perilous smiles
leaving her whiff for other’s surprise
her candor was her signature
alas! people assumed
she wasn’t real but some disguise

  1. Perhaps those wings took a lifetime to earn? Hence .. each feather to precious to have them so easily plucked away by the real disguise we all know as ” Behind a smile lies a crooked mile” Absolutely Beautifully written in a style all your own! Observance, you wear it well.

A quote I wrote that is on my poetry blog ” Asumptions are a fool’s paradise”.
